Every year, Santa Claus makes a list of every child who celebrates Christmas and what they'd like him to bring down the chimney. The magician shows he's on Santa's good list by predicting both the name of a child and the gift they will receive! Here are a few things to bear in mind as you read the trick description:
- Adaptable for virtually any venue size
- Packs small, plays big
- Could be repeated to the same audience (at a later time)
- Can be set up to lead into several trick classics
You'll have a volunteer randomly choose a gift from a long list. It seems completely fair-because it basically is. But it's a force. They choose the name and gift you've predetermined.
The best thing is, Santa's List gives YOU the choice to choose what is forced. This isn't like a Svengali deck where every time you perform it, the card will be the same. There are at least 50 different forces possible, and you can choose any of them for any performance. You're in control!
Possible forces include popular children's toys and also stuff that can lead to your next trick-you can force a coloring book, for example. You can even force a bunny rabbit, then produce your rabbit, adding strong mentalism that's simple enough for children to understand to your regular rabbit production.
Your order includes enough supplies for 50 performances. You'll also get a bunch of different presentation ideas, including the coal fakeout from the video below, the appearing gift combo, the Wiffle Bat surprise, and more.
NOTE: The prop you’re ordering has several improvements. Rather than a stack of sheets, it’s one looooong sheet, a single section from Santa’s long flowing list—each performance you’ll have a nearly three foot long gift list. It’s also designed with a font that makes it basically impossible for anyone to spot the gimmick.
