In this 4 hour workshop, Jon Armstrong will show how to break out of the comfort zone of close up magic and into being able to perform for hundreds on platforms and small stages. The course will take the magic you already do in close up and show you how to make it play larger, while teaching you brand new effects and techniques that can give you a solid foundation for a journey towards stage magic. If you ever wanted to do magic at an open mic night, a formal gathering, or just wanted to be able to take the stand up or Parlour show you do now and make it even bigger and better, this is the class for you.
Just Some of The Tricks to be Taught...
Splash Bottle Production: A stunning production of a beer bottle from a roll of "magic" toilet paper.
Card Magic: An array of strong stand up card magic including many of the effect Jon has made a career by. Included are My Opening Act, Sleight of Nose, Card Under Watch, and his Cards End finale. This is 20 minutes of hard hitting card magic that Jon will teach you how to perform on stage.
Ring and Tie Routine: Jon's stand up version of ring and rope, using his necktie and a jumbo novelty ring. It's complete routine with a surprise bowtie production ending.
