This sheet is three of Marlo's methods for the bottom deal; which he published under the pseudonym Manuel Pedro in the 1940s.
Laurie Ireland met Manuel Pedro on a trip to Cuba. He was very skilled in cards, especially when money was involved. He did not mind demonstrating his ability for a price. Mr. Ireland made notes on the work, and back home had Marlo edit it. The Havana Deal, named for its birthplace, exposes three methods of a gambler's bottom deal. Very interesting sleight of hand for the card expert. Clearly illustrated with photographs.
