what has become a modern day close-up classic:
The Original Matchbox Penetration (Cerillas Bloque)
This brilliant, original creation has been copied and altered to the point of absurdity at the expense of the effect and the quality of the craftsmanship. In 2013, Selecciones Magicas had enough and announced they would no longer manufacture their original creation, much to the dismay of fans all over the world.
Magic Inc. is delighted to announce that (after two years of friendly negotiation) we have purchased the global manufacturing and distribution rights from Selecciones Magicas. Once we had the rights, the brass blocks went through intense research and development by our staff of professional magicians. Magic Inc. made two delicate improvements to the original design; the first allows the mechanism to work more quietly, and the second eliminates an issue that would come up when the traditional block would tarnish. Now you don't have to worry about any telltale half-moon circles on the short side of the block. The lines are imperceptible to the eye at the end of the magician's performance.
Like all of Magic Inc's products, The Original Matchbox Penetration is now made in the USA right here in Chicago!
Beautifully handcrafted with a brass satin finish, the metal block is larger and heavier, and far easier to work than the knock-off versions. If you use a split-down-the-middle brass block, this one will leave you scratching your head!
