THE CONDUCTOR CODY SHOW Starring Cody Clark
Conductor Cody: When you meet Conductor Cody, everyone is in for a treat! Cody uses his magic routines to take all of the guests on a magical train adventure on his train The Comet Express. On the journey, Cody's train-themed magic presentations will give children a chance to be the star of the show through his many audience-participation routines. Children will also learn the science behind how steam engines operate, fun facts about the history of American railroading, and how to stay safe near railroad tracks. By the time The Comet Express returns to the station, the entire audience will have had an amazing experience that they will never forget.
Louisville, KY based magician Cody Clark is a terrific performer. He just opened for magic legend Lance Burton on his show Lance Burton and Friends, at the Louisville Palace. But on this show, he has tapped into his childhood love of trains to create a magical railway adventure for the whole family to enjoy. You will get to help Cody make enough train coal appear to fuel his steam engine, help him repair a railroad block signal, couple a train back together, and learn all about the history of railroading in America. By the time the train returns to the station, you'll be glad you joined him for the journey.Cody's Story: "I was born on June 22nd, 1993 to my loving parents Andrew and Kristi Clark. They were overjoyed to have a baby boy and had no worries until I suddenly quit responding to my name. That is when I was diagnosed with autism. They were worried, like most parents would be, yet they never gave up on me. They made sure I had the best therapy and best teachers possible, allowing me to become the person I am today. And they encouraged me to be myself, in whatever form that took. So when I became interested in the art of magic at the age of 11, my parents naturally lent me their support, even as my interest blossomed into a full-time professional career. My experimentation in combining magic, theatre, and other influences eventually led to me developing my own unique style of magic, combining stage magic with real life’s magic moments. And once this led to me overcoming my fear of being open about my autism, I earned the respect of my peers and audiences. To this day, I enjoy being able to live my dreams each and every single day."
